January, 2012 marks Stone and Earth Landscapes 35th Anniversary serving Santa Barbara County. Originally a partnership between Richard Turner, Jerry Howard and Pat Scott (founder of Pat Scott Masonry), Stone and Earth Landscapes has established deep roots in the Santa Barbara area since 1977. Obtaining sole proprietorship in 1981, Richard Turner has developed Stone and Earth Landscapes tradition of installing high quality landscapes. In 1998, while attending UCSB, Richard’s son Wesley began working for Stone and Earth. Becoming a full time supervisor in 2007, Wesley has worked diligently along side his father to learn the business and hopes to continue the family legacy for years to come. Over the past three decades, Stone and Earth Landscapes has worked with numerous Landscapes Architects in Santa Barbara and from outside the Santa Barbara area as well. We have also worked directly with business and residential property owners, with and without architectural plans. In addition, we have also worked with general contractors and property managers. No matter what the relationship is, we concentrate on the development of these relationships to form strong bonds with our clients, based on communication and understanding. At Stone and Earth Landscapes, we also concentrate on the close management of our staff. Our management team has 70 years of collective landscape installation experience and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail. Because of the working relationships we develop with our clients, we enjoy having our clients work directly with our supervisors and crews on site. This enables our clients to make sure there landscape visions are realized. A bilingual supervisor will always be at your disposal if you have questions or concerns. For the past three decades, Stone and Earth Landscapes has brought our collaborative landscape installation process to the Santa Barbara area.
